Event Description:

It’s time for Elizabeth & Radar’s 22nd Annual Stuff The Bus! Hunger never takes a holiday, and once again this year we're asking for your help to "Stuff The Bus" to make sure no one goes hungry this holiday season. We're broadcasting live the day before Thanksgiving from 6am 'til 6pm at the Pick 'n Save at 1717 North Mayfair Road in Wauwatosa taking your non-perishable food donations to benefit Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin.

Please join us on Wednesday, November 27th and help make it a happy holiday for those less fortunate right here in our backyard! If you're unable to join us, please consider a generous donation or text STUFFING to 41444. Thank you!

Here's what they need:

Non-perishable food items only. No frozen items or glass bottles/jars please.

  • Canned soups, stews, chili,
  • Canned vegetables & fruits,
  • Canned meat items & canned milk,
  • Rice, pasta, instant potatoes,
  • Peanut butter in plastic jars,
  • Breakfast cereal, stuffing mixes
  • and all the mac & cheese you can carry!

A Word About Turkeys (and Hams!)
Nothing says Thanksgiving like turkey and ham, and once again this year, with your help, we're going to do everything we can to try and put a turkey or ham on as many tables as possible. We will be accepting donations of frozen turkeys and hams only during our Stuff The Bus broadcast at the Mayfair Road location on Wednesday, November 27th from 6am to 6pm. If you'd like to donate a frozen turkey or ham, we'd love to take 'em!

However, please remember that they must be frozen and please do not place them in the blue barrels in the store. Please hand them to our volunteers when you stop by so we can handle them properly. If you or your organization would like to donate a bunch of them, and we'd love that even more, that's fine too. Just give Feeding America a call at 414-931-7400, tell 'em you've got a bunch of frozen turkeys or hams for Stuff The Bus and they can give you pointers on the best way to get 'er done!
