End of summer means a bountiful harvest from area farmers!  If you're looking for farm fresh produce at great prices, now is the time to plan your shopping trip to area farmer's markets!

Many markets run all spring and summer.  You'll find great items to buy, no matter when you shop.  But, as summer fades into fall, you can load the family up with healthy eats!

Here's a quick list of farmer's markets you won't want to miss....

*TOSA  - I've seen breads, desserts, flowers plus great produce in Tosa!  Saturday's, 8am til Noon... through Oct 17th 7720 West Harwood Ave.

*BROOKFIELD - They have a wide variety of items, plus a bunch of sweet corn!   Saturday's through Oct. 7:30am til Noon. Brookfield Central High School, 16900 W. Gebhardt Rd.

*WEST ALLIS - Grab your fresh produce at my hometown market!  They have a special hour for seniors, to keep them safe (Tues and Thursday's 11a-Noon) Regular hours - Tuesday and Thursday Noon - 6p, Saturday's Noon - 6p. Runs through November!  6501 West National 

*WESTOWN - Head downtown, right across from where Grand Avenue was for great produce!  Wednesday's, 10am - 2pm til Oct. 7th. 301 W. Michigan Ave.

*OAK CREEK  - You can order online!  I grab my honey at OCFM...made locally and it helps my allergies! Drexel Town Square, Saturday's 9a - 1pm through Oct 24

*SOUTH SHORE - Grab sauces and other yummy goods, through Oct 24th.  Saturday's, 8am til Noon at 2900 S. Shore Drive

*SHOREWOOD - Salsa and fresh veggies rock! Estabrook Park on Saturday's, 9:30a - 1pm through October.
