Add ice cream to this easy dessert!

May 17, 2019

May 17th is National Cherry Cobbler Day!  If you love cherries and need a quick and easy dessert this summer, this recipe is for you!

This Cherry Cobbler recipe is quick, easy and soooooo yummy!  If you're more of an apple fan, I've used apple pie filling, with a box of spice cake mix.  Either way, you'll love this dessert!

REALATED : Apple Cobbler Recipe

Heat your over to 350!

2 cans of cherry pie filling

1 box of yellow cake mix

1 cup oats (oatmeal)

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 stick salted butter

Spray a 9" x 13" pan with cooking spray.

Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to each can of cherry pie filling and mix well.  Pour the cans into the 9" x 13" pan.

In a large bowl, combine the package of yellow cake mix, the oats and brown sugar.  Pour over the top of the cherry pie filling.

Melt the stick of butter, and pour over the dry mixture.  Bake 50-60 minutes.  I usually let it cool for a bit, then add ice cream and EAT!!
