10 Most Wanted on The Mix
Categories:

Welcome to our new web series countdown called the 10 Most Wanted on The Mix with (me) Molly Cruz!  After my on-air shift from 9a-1p on The Mix, I put my earbuds on and try to find the next big song to play on The Mix!  I would love to hear which songs you absolutely love right now and include them in our next Top 10!  Message me any time @MollyOnTheMix on Facebook/Instagram/Twitter!

Here are the 10 Most Wanted songs this week...

10. Queen – Bohemian Rhapsody

‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ was one of my favorite movies last year, and was clearly a big hit for many others as Rami Malek won several awards for his portrayal of Freddie Mercury!  I love that these songs are becoming more popular again and even young kids are starting to understand why, for years, Queen was the hottest band on the radio!

9. P!NK – Walk Me Home

Ok, this is my new favorite song on The Mix! Last month, The Mix did a HUGE RADIO.COM World Premiere of “Walk Me Home” to help debut P!NK’s new single. Even better news? P!NK will be dropping her 8thstudio album called ‘Hurts 2B Human’ next month! AND she is coming to Milwaukee in May too!

8. Panic! At The Disco – High Hopes

This song came out at the end of last summer and has yet to lose any momentum, simply put, Milwaukee loves this song (and Panic! At The Disco)!

7. Lauren Daigle – You Say

If you don’t know her name already, you better get familiar because Lauren Daigle is a force to be reckoned with! She is an award-winning Christian artist including 2 Grammy Awards from this year! “You Say” was written with childhood innocence in mind, she wanted people to think, “how do I see myself through [the eyes of childhood innocence] again? How do I love myself like that again? Where's that joy? Where's that hope?”

6. Ava Max – Sweet But Psycho

Ava Max was born in Milwaukee (currently lives in L.A.) and recently announced that she will be coming back to Milwaukee for a performance on June 23 at The Rave!

5. Halsey – Without Me

Did you catch Halsey on Saturday Night Live last month? She is not only an artist with her music, but she is an artist with a paint brush! Halsey painted a massive piece of canvas in the time it took her to sing “Eastside”, she also broke her silence about the motivation behind “Without Me” with powerful words from her ex like “I cheated” throughout the SNL stage.

4. Lady Gaga – Always Remember Us This Way

It’s been a great year for Lady Gaga!  With her role in ‘A Star Is Born’, she has regained popularity among the masses - both musically AND with awards season. I can’t listen to this song without tearing up thinking about this scene from the movie. Many others seem to have an emotional connection to it also, as it’s trending on the music charts across the world!

3. Thomas Rhett – Look What God Gave Her

Like Halsey, Thomas Rhett was recently featured as the musical guest on SNL and performed “Look What God Gave Her” as one of his two songs. He is also up for Male Artist Of The Year for the upcoming Academy of Country Music awards on April 7.

2. Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper – Shallow

Lady Gaga made it onto our list twice this week with her music from ‘A Star Is Born’! “Shallow” recently won an Oscar Best Original Song and won the same award category during Golden Globe Awards. Also, you need to rewatch (or watch for the first time if you haven’t already) her performance at the Academy Awards with Bradley Cooper, it was beautiful. P.S. I’m not buying that they are “just friends”… the chemistry between them is electric!

1. Jonas Brothers - Sucker

What year is it?! The Jonas Brothers are back after taking what we thought was going to be a permanent hiatus back in 2016… and I am totally here for it! You might have heard their song “Sucker” as a part of our RADIO.COM World Premiere at the end of last month. We are SO excited the bros are back together and look forward to more music and maybe a visit from them very soon!
