2019 New Years Resolutions
Categories:

Happy New Year (almost)! With 2019 fast approaching, it’s time to set goals for a new year and a fresh start. This week for "In The Mix" - we asked our DJs what they want to do better in the year ahead, here’s what they had to say. We’d love to hear from you on Facebook or Instagram @991TheMix (@991WMYX on Twitter) as to what your New Year’s resolution will be!

Elizabeth Kay (5:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.): "My New Year’s resolution is to do more yoga! I need more flexibility in my life, I have tight hamstrings, my lower back hurts; well, I need to stretch more is what I’ve been told. In fact, every morning I actually touch my toes. I really do, every morning. But I need to do more than that, so that’s my goal for 2019.”

Tony "Radar" Hess (5:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.): "In 2019, I resolve to drink more light beer, gotta watch the figure. You know what I’m saying? But I do like the heavy beer, but light beer is something that I should probably invest in. Oh, and I would like to hand out lemons to people with little words on them that say ‘life’. Because when life hands you lemons, you make lemonade! That’s just a fun one for you. Happy New Year!”

Dave "Producer Dave" Stein (5:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.): "My New Year’s resolution for 2019 is to get tan! Surprise! I already got tan because I got a spray tan. So actually, my real New Year’s resolution is hmmm, I want to be the best Dave that I can be. I don’t know what that means yet and I don’t think you know what that means yet either. But just go with the flow; that’s what your resolution should be and that’s what mine is too.”

Molly Cruz (9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.): "New Year’s resolution is a hard question because a couple of things come to mind. Personally, I feel like I want to spend less money on eating out and just like wasting money on frivolous things, I would love to save that money and maybe travel more. I think professionally, I would love to just foster better relationships. Make sure those are well taken care of, squash any beef. I feel like no-drama in 2019 is my motto.”

Aaron Carreno (1:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.): "My New Year’s resolution, well one – I’d like to own instead of rent. I know that’s kind of a weird New Year’s resolution, but I’m hoping to get that done by the end of the year. Two – because I love to travel, I’d like to cross off another continent on my bucket list. Which would be South America and of course you know you’re going to see all of the travel stories on 991TheMix.com, which you’re on right now.”
