Oscar Mayer Wienermobile Spotted (and Pulled Over) in Waukesha

Are you following the "Move Over Law" in Wisconsin?

January 27, 2020

On Monday, January 27, 2020, the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile was pulled over in Waukesha County for failing to abide by the "Move Over Law" in Wisconsin. Which according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation states, "If a motorist sees a vehicle on the side of the road with its emergency lights flashing (red, blue and amber), the motorist is required to move out of the lane closest to the vehicle if possible."

Lucky for the driver of the Wienermobile that they were just given a verbal warning, because it could have otherwise meant a $249 fine and three demerit points on their license.

If you've ever been curious where you can find a Wienermobile on your own (and not the luck of the commute), you can see if one of the six are nearby you with their tracker.

Good luck spotting one of the wienermobiles and hopefully this pulled-over incident is a rare occurrence!
