Favorite Thanksgiving Dish to Make?

Thanksgiving is on Thursday (November 22, 2018) and most of our DJs know what they want to cook for their friends and family! What's your favorite thing to bring to Thanksgiving? Find out what our DJs said on this week's episode of In The Mix!

Elizabeth Kay (5:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.): "My favorite dish to make is sweet potato casserole; I get asked to make it every year and it's not at all healthy for you! I mean, the topping is butter, pecans, brown sugar, corn flakes. It's amazing. My mouth is watering for it now.”

Tony "Radar" Hess (5:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.): "My favorite dish for Thanksgiving, I think a lot of people have this dish as their favorite - sweet potato casserole. Sweet potatoes, cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar, and then you bake it. Oh, but don’t forget, in like the last five minutes of baking, you throw the marshmallows on top, drizzle it with caramel. I’m hungry right now! You could skip the turkey for me, I could just have a whole dish of the sweet potato casserole. Mmm.”

Dave "Producer Dave" Stein (5:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.): "What’s my favorite dish to make for Thanksgiving? Well, it’s NOT turkey! Cause I’m not the biggest fan of turkey; but, it is garlic mashed potatoes. Gotta throw some cheese in there too, because making cheese makes everything better, right? Garlic mashed potatoes, definitely need to be on your Thanksgiving platter.”

Molly Cruz (9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.): "Okay, favorite dish to make for Thanksgiving is obviously green bean casserole. You cannot have enough, my family makes like two dishes of it and there’s never any left over for me to bring home and I get very mad. But, I love it! Green bean casserole for the win, every time – all the time.”

Aaron Carreno (1:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.): "Boy, what do we bring to Thanksgiving? Well, I don’t really cook a lot and I’m serious. I don’t cook a lot; my partner cooks a lot and he likes to make dips and shareable things. So, we’ll just bring like a spinach artichoke dip, we’ll bring the snacks. I’ll bring the wine and that makes Thanksgiving more palatable anyways.”
