Tired of the unsolicited political calls and texts? 

According to experts, there are a few ways you can get these messages to stop:

  1. Make sure your number is registered on the National Do not Call Registry (you have to call from the number you want on the list) 1-888-382-1222 or visit DoNotCall.gov
  2. Text back STOP (no extra comments or punctuation)
  3. Still getting calls? Call the local Democratic and Republican party and ask them to take you off the list.
  4. Block the number

Wondering how they got your number? In most cases it's because you put your number down when you registered to vote.
