How to melt ice without salt

This life hack is so easy if you don't have salt

Home remedy to remove ice

Are your sidewalks and driveways still really icy from the ice storm that hit last week?

Our sidewalk is terrible.

Last night I went to two gas stations and our local grocery store and they were all out of ice.

So we went to the internet and found a home remedy to help remove ice WITHOUT salt.

For every 2/3 cup of vinegar, you'll need to add 1/3 cup of HOT water.  Dump it into a bowl. Pour that over your ice and that should start to melt the ice.

It took time to make the mixture and then pour it on the sidewalk, but it did help (and we were desperate since we couldn't find salt in any of the stores).
