Goat yoga - ever try it?

Over the weekend my sisters and I did goat yoga on a farm in the woods in Burlington at Oak Hollow Acres. We're always looking for fun activities to do together and this was so FUN!

It was a trip! It's cool to be in nature under HUGE trees with a gorgeous blue sky in a space with actual goats looking for snuggles and snacks. The class was an hour and we did a good stretch, but there were moments of not stretching since the goats want your attention.

My tips of what to bring:

  • an open mind 
  • Towel AND yoga mat
  • Wipes/hand sanitizers
  • Water
  • clothes/shoes you don't mind getting dirty
  • hair tie so the goats don't nibble on your hair
  • bug spray
  • sunscreen
  • sunglasses
  • camera

And here's what NOT to bring:

  • a bad attitude
  • food/snacks/gum - the goats will smell it out and try to get it out of your bag
  • a big bag or one that you mind the goats nibbling on
