You're Gonna Wanna Eat These Cinnamon Rolls

There's Bacon in Them!!

In my house, homemade food reigns supreme. For this week of "Foodie Friday", my girlfriend, Hannah, made us some homemade BACON,PECAN CINNAMON ROLLS and let me tell you, you're only going to want to eat your cinnamon rolls this way from now on. Here's the recipe and video of Radar and Me tasting them!
 

1/4 cup warm water
One 1 1/4-ounce package instant yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons) 
1 cup sugar
1 large egg, lightly beaten 
1/4 cup canola oil 
2 teaspoons kosher salt 
1/2 cup cold water 
1/2 cup boiling water 
4 cups all-purpose flour, plus 1/2 cup or more as needed 
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon 
6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted 
3 strips bacon
1/2 Cup Pecans
 

1) Let the yeast bloom in the WARM WATER
2)Mix together 1/2 C Sugar, Egg, oil, COLD WATER FIRST and the BOILING WATER and then in your standing mixer, slowly mix and add 4 Cups flour

3) Once that forms a dough, rest in the fridge for at least 2 hours. Then Roll it out and spread MELTED BUTTER all over

4) Mix together cinnamon and sugar together and sprinkle that, BACON and PECANS over ther dough

5)Roll it up  LONG WAYS and cut into pieces

6) Let them rise again for an hour in a greased pan. Preheat your oven to 350.
7) Bake for 40-45 minutes. Badaboom Badabing, you got some rolls

Enjoy them in whatever way you enjoy your food. I like eating them hot and fast!!!
