I have to say I saw this for the first time on Food Network, and I took the recipe and tweaked it a little bit. 

When I eat cookies, I want mine to be extra chewy. None of that nonsense crunchy cookie stuff. So I've been looking for ways to do it. And I found the secret.

MISO PASTE! MISO PASTE! MISO PASTE! 

Yup, Miso paste, the same stuff that is used in so many Asian foods. Fasciniating I know. Heres the ingredient list and a video of me making the cookies. Try it for yourself! Enjoy

INGREDIENTS:

2 Stick Butter
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1/3 Cup White Sugar
1/4 Cup Miso Paste
2 Eggs
Splash of vanilla
Salt
Pepper
Baking Soda
