What helps you relax?

2018...what a crazy year.  I began the year in Kansas City, met a ton of new friends, flew all over the place for fun/work, attended my Grandfather's funeral, moved to Milwaukee, started a new job...the list goes on and on...you get it.

As another year ends and one begins, I think it's important to focus on what makes YOU happy/relaxed.  I find that so often we get too consumed in what everyone else wants us to do/think/believe, that it's easy for us to forget about the little things that keep us powering through each day.

I'm not sure about you, but one thing I've discovered about myself in 2018, is that I haven't focused on self-care as much as I'd like to have. I really felt the affects of all of this constant "go..go...go" mentality by sufferring from some pretty bad insomnia while I was off work for the holidays.  Moving across the country I'm sure didn't help much, but now that we've settled back in Milwaukee, why not begin now?  

What helps you "relax"? 

Yoga? Meditiation? Massage?  Call me crazy, but I think these little "happy lights" really work!  Spending 30+ hours of my week in a studio without natural sunlight (and shorter daylight during Winter in general) I really feel has taken it's toll on my body.  Do you use one of these?
